Josh Garrels is an American singer-songwriter, producer and composer. This man's music is a rich, delicious mixture of orchestral folk and a little bit of hip-hop.
His latest album, The Sea In Between, is a collection of songs that was filmed and recorded live on several magnificent locations on Mayne Island (Canada). The soundtrack was recorded with the Mason Jar Music team for their feature-length documentary film, The Sea In Between.
To me, personally, his music - and this album in particular - exemplifies the intimacy that can be found with Jesus, as well as translating this intimacy into music.
